...just someone who likes taking photographs while I walk about with a tendency to photograph very boring things and locations. I studied photography when I was a graphic design student. As part of the course I learnt about F-stops, depth of field, exposure times and all that stuff. To be honest, I struggled with the camera, settings. I felt that by the time I had what I thought was the perfect setting, the moment had gone.
It was ok for the studio stuff, but when I was out and about, not so much. I just couldn’t get the hang of it. So, I have a confession to make, all the images on this site are taken on my phone. No fancy camera, no lenses, my phone isn’t even the latest one. I like photographing ruins and forgotten areas, that is why there are quite a few derelict buildings and disused sites and boring shots.
I cant sleep sometimes and wake up early. So I get up and go for a walk, before the noise of the traffic starts, it's amazing what you can hear. On my way to work, I pass a small walkway that leads to a field and pond, autumn had started and it was just after dawn on a frosty morning, I noticed the the brown trees and the mist and had to get this photo.
